Burner system for power plant at Michelin, Cholet in France

After the combined heat and power system in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the plant in Cholet is the second Michelin production facility to commission a R&V burner system. The new system replaces an outdated CHP plant and meets all latest environmental standards combined with high efficiency.

Technical description
The single burner system is designed for operation in turbine exhaust gas mode and fresh air firing. In order to meet the applicable emission limits flue gas recirculation is applied for NOx emission abatement. R&V Engineering designed and supplied burner, burner duct and fuel system.
